New Music Links: All Genres. Go Ahead, Don't Be Afraid, Add Some Cuts

And now we start a long thread which never stops.

Don’t stop the music.

Please add some cuts of your own.

Solarstone f/Meredith Call - “I Found You” (Giuseppe Ottavani Remix)

Released: 2017

Genre: Dance/Electronica/Trance

BPM - 138

I prepped this music to where I normally cue the song in club work.

Other things you might want to know:

  • Solarstone is a collaborative 3 artist group from Ireland.

  • Giueseppe Ottavani is the legendary Italian remixer/DJ/Producer

  • and Meredith is from the USA, from somewhere up in the Pacific Northwest. She’s the mysterious one in this project. She has all but disappeared after taking part in this heavenly slice of trance music from five years ago.

The Hunna - “You and Me”

Genre: Modern Rock/Alt Rock/Post Punk
Released: 2016 (from their first album)
BPM: 146

This song trended strongly for 2017-2019. Whenever I’'d mix this in to the night’s music, invariably, the youngsters would whip out their cellphones to Shazam the title and artist names.

Anyway, these lads are cranking out some strong stuff and I’ll bring more of their songs here.

Almost everything off of Odesza’s '22 album The Last Goodbye is outstanding, but here’s one:
Genre: Odesza (
Released 2022

David, in for a win here. I did not know Odesza had realeased anything in a while. Very cool. Thanks.

Two of my most soulful dancers to ever work with trap/chillstep/dubstep/deep house were from Czech Republic and Ukraine. They introduced me to Odesza way back in 2013.

Here’s a piece of trap/chillstep from Afrojack, David, which both of the dancers alluded to above used to stop people from talking just to watch them violently work out on stage. Only 73 BPM, a song like this can have drops where a dancer explodes on the horizontal, vertical bars or go for an all-team workout on that stage which no one at cross-fit gym could pull off in an intense workout.

David Guetta has only recently moved off my EDM Dishonor Roll. Used to love the guy, but he went way too pop for my tastes and the tastes of people who dance to EDM for a living.

Afrojack/David Guetta played “Another Life” for the first time in 2017 and talked over the whole song. Were I working that stage, I would have forcefully walked over, and told them to STFU and let the song do all the talking.

Still, this song is where I mark Guetta moving back into my cynical graces. I love this music video. Somebody, somewhere, will open a new music/video channel which was like old EmptyV.

I hope you enjoy this one. I blast it.
