Google says typical speed of VLCC very large crude carrier is 12 mph. Distance Saudi Arabia to Houston is 8000 mi. Travel time estimated at 28 days.
Of course most Mideast oil goes to Europe or Asia. Ours probably comes from Canada or Venezuela.
But the numbers do confirm amount of oil on the water while the Straits of Hormuz are closed. After a month or so availability becomes a critical issue. And recovery once resolved will take months.
