Some of the stocks in the Naz100 had a fabulous year, with 9 of them up over 100% YTD. But every silver miner listed by Bar Chart has made as much or more, as did the ETFs that track them. So I’m revising my investing plans for 2026, and I do mean ‘investing’, not ‘trading’.

I’m going to learn the precious metals markets and make some serious money from doing so, not that the positions I already own in the group haven’t done well for me so far. But focusing on metals means I stop tracking and trying to trade currencies, county funds, and I end my stocks bottom-fishing gig, not that I regret doing so for what I learned this past year about trade management.

Fortunately, trying to break into becoming a precious metals investor is made easier by the abundance of informational videos carried on YouTube, a few of which I’ve listed below. 20 or 30 years ago, I used to scoff at the gold bugs when I’d attend their talks at the Money Shows. But times have changed, and now I find myself becoming one.

_Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose._
