In the middle of all the fighting IMF gave $1 B loan to Pakistan. OTOH, west and specifically US wage financial war, sanction against countries like Iran. For “US and West” Pakistan is a strategic ally. Even though Pakistan is closer to China. Remember US has been providing military aid to pakistan for the last 60 years. So West will not allow Pakistan disintegration.
India’s position of “no third party involvement” is well known. And basically told No to US negotiations, subsequent to that Vance said “this is none of our business” and yet today US administration is claiming they were involved. So basically US talked to Pakistan and convinced them, then Pakistan called India with ceasefire offer.
Why US after declaring “it is none of our business” and still continued the negotiations? Simple, they want to save Pakistan from themselves.
Pakistan is blacklisted country. They have no money. The population is progressively getting poorer and infrastructure is crumbling.
India is a different story. It is regenerating wealth. People are getting rich and infrastructure (roads, airports, ports, electricity, internet) in improving rapidly.
