OT:emails aren't Private

Email privacy means keeping your messages safe from prying eyes at all times, but most email providers aren’t private.

Your emails record who you are. From chat to shopping receipts, work tasks, love letters, and doctor’s notes, your email messages span the length and breadth of your life from adolescence.

In the latest trove of Epstein emails released Friday, Attia appears chummy with the late, convicted sex offender, making crude jokes, offering to help Epstein live longer “for the ladies,” and gushing about Epstein’s “outrageous” lifestyle. Attia’s name appears more than 1,700 times in the trove of 3 million emails, including many personal email exchanges with Epstein.

This single email cost Apple, Google, and Adobe $415 million (scandal)

Why have over 64,000 employees accused tech giants?

Careful our side is making up all sorts of stuff. Conspiracies everywhere. Lying on either side is lying.

Signal was called out as if the government created their code. The government was an early contributor of money to their project. And that was indirect. But we have our crazies. People on either side getting in line to spout are the worst part of the process.

Ref the nature of email: That’s pretty much been known or assumed since the dawn of email. And even with this company and their encrypted email I suspect the Gov will be able to see what they want anyway. Search warrants. I like the idea of Proton mail but you have to get all your friends and anybody you do business to install their decryption software don’t you? Buena suerta with that. Barring all the embarrassing stories you might have told people about in emails the past 30 years you’re safe from anything people might be able to “get you” on. In fact I’m a little surprised after all these years there hasn’t been a “normal regular” email provider that offers safe non-tracked, non stored-forever email. Why does it need to be encrypted?

Who’s actually looking at you? What are they looking for? I liken it to what I call the New York City Subway Security System. Every day somebody gets shot, stabbed, beaten, pickpocketed, or harassed on the subway. But most people take it twice a day for 40 or more years and never have that happen. There’s so many people there it’s always happening to somebody else. As far as schnoring account numbers? Hey, they ain’t hacking you for that. They’re already hacking your bank, broker, doctor’s office, Amazon etc etc. Securing your email is a waste of time

Attia. Has always come off as bogus and a wind bag to me

Looks like Elon has been tp Epstein island and lied about it. Caught by emails.

The newly released Epstein files contain extensive correspondence involving not one, but two current Tesla board members, CEO Elon Musk and his brother Kimbal Musk. The documents directly contradict Elon’s public claims about his relationship with the convicted sex offender

Despite Musk’s public claim that “Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED,” the emails tell a very different story. In December 2013, it was Musk who reached out to Epstein

In case anyone is not aware, Epstein plead guilty to soliciting prostitution with a minor and was sentenced to 18 months in jail in 2008. Anyone associating with him after this point was willingly do so with a known child predator - and is deserving of our full condemnation.

You know, we might find out exactly why Elon feared going to prison if the country didn’t elect a fellow criminal…
