OT....I learned something new today

On Facebook…and it was interesting. The Chorleywood bread making process.

I shared it with my bestie from grade school days and she did know about it (she studied agricultural botany and then food science at university) Was, in fact, better value than Wikipedia with the extra explanation she gave me.

As it happened, my pal always liked to eat at my house as my mum always had a fresh loaf like this delivered every other day from a local baker or she’d bake her own. I always liked to eat at hers because the ready sliced, “cotton wool” type of loaf seemed so much more modern :thinking:
