As is banning TikTok in the United States the Governments prerogative. Everything you are using as an argument applies to the United States also. What you fail to understand is that the Supreme Court already ruled after the law was passed by Congress and signed into law by a duly elected President. So I don’t understand why you would have a problem with it.
I believe it is because there isn’t a freedom of speech issue.
You see this is why I am starting to think the Government is right. It might be a security issue. If people are so enthralled with it that they can’t find a different App it might signal that they are addicted to the App and not be able to see that they are being manipulated. I do not think there is any App that I could not leave and find another to take it’s place.
I haven’t heard of any bans on ev’s although you might not want to pay the price.
He was asked why the 180, yesterday. He openly said that, since he was against it, he started to use it. He credited his presence on TikTok for his (delusionally claimed) huge popularity among younger people. Since TikTok is now useful to him, personally, that makes TikTok OK.
Here is TNG, explaining why TikTok is now useful to him, personally, and his extortion scheme he intends to work on the company.
yeah no kidding. We don’t need to speak about the court because it is not its decision to ban. It is the president’s prerogative but banning or forcing a sell do not make it right. TikTok users are numerous. They don’t want a ban. The president do not want to ban. It helped him in his campaigns.
Forcing a sell is an attempt at theft.
You start by saying that Facebook is mining as much and then you realized TikTok is much better. It is much better platform to sell stuff, and that is all it is.
Listen to what is being said in that video clip I posted. What he is saying is “give half of your company to me, and my cronies, or I will put you out of business”. Where I come from, that is extortion. Openly expressed, as if there was no danger of prosecution for extortion…oh wait, he has no danger of prosecution.
