OT Late September Surprise a No' Easter

This is a pain. I remember the October Surprise in 2010. I was without power for 10 days. I am on the verge of completing my video game and registering copyrights. This can delay me. The power lines came down across NE in 2010.

This storm could last for days.

So far this year, there haven’t been any Atlantic hurricanes. There is still some time left in the season, but it looks like there might not be any.

Earlier this month, southern California was impacted by a Pacific hurricane off the coast of Mexico. It was hot, muggy, and somewhat uncomfortable here in San Diego. Still, I prefer that kind of weather to Santa Ana conditions, which greatly increase wildfire dangers.

Hurricane season peaked and faded with little activity. We officially have had five named storms. No major hurricanes and no hurricanes have formed to date. On average, by this date, there would have been four hurricanes and two major hurricanes. We have officially set a new record: this is the latest in the year within the modern era, since satellites have existed (1966), that we haven’t had a hurricane so late in the season.

We may have a three day Nor Easter this coming weekend along the Eastern seaboard.
