Boiteux entered the fray for nuclear power at the beginning of France’s demand-side economics period. All was much more affordable in relative terms to the industrial base rebuilding quickly after WW II. Today as France swings towards supply-side economics nuclear power will in real terms become totally unaffordable to France. But as with anything supply side econ there can always be more debt laid on and blaming the poor is a dishonest sport played by all.
