I never notice they were holding guitars.

They’ve got them too. She took hers out, they are around her neck. The keyboardist only has it in one ear. The in-ear monitors are a great way to go. My last band did that, I loved it. Besides being able to actually hear, the stage is a lot less cluttered. My current band is a bunch of luddites.

Modern music electronics is incredible. Increasing, even top players don’t use amps and speakers anymore for live gigs. That’s my preference as well.

Totally. Everything fits in the gig bag.

Nice! Poor drummer, though. :man_lifting_weights:

And don’t forget that the in-ear monitors allow for added sounds that don’t go into the house mix. A click track (basically a metronome) is pretty standard, as is what I call a conductor track - reminders of what is coming (2nd verse, chorus, tempo changes, things like that), which serve to help with recalling the memorized music. And if you see something that looks like a monitor on stage, it’s more likely to be a video screen with the lyrics. Even top level performers can have brief moments where they forget a lyric.

All of these aids simply help the musicians give a better performance. And that’s what audiences want.

One of the models in that video sat for an interview, several years ago. She mentioned that she was not wearing a certain garment when the video was shot. For the halibut, the show ran a clip of her, in the video, with the contrast turned down and brightness turned up, so the tide changes were visible.

Hubbard and Herbie Hancock were pretty good too.

I went to see Gary Clark at the local outdoor music venue 2 weeks ago, he was awesome. He didn’t do Voodoo Child, as he has so much of his own music, but he does a great version of it.

They have amazed so much money by screwing the middle class and lower class. Do they allow unions in their companies? NO

Do they give money to the Republicans who are screwing the middle class and lower class? YES

But my point was related to the millionaires and billionaires who are going to get all the benefits of mega tax breaks from the Trump/Republican BBB while the middle class and lower class get peanuts and mega loss of benefits.

It’s been the plan all along. But in the words of Mitch McConnel, we’ll get used to it.
