One project this year has been shredding the years of tax filings I did while my mom was in a nursing home, and the records for her, and my aunt’s estates.
Noticed this pie chart in the tax instruction booklet from 1999, especially that 7% slice in outlays “surplus to pay down the debt”. Multiple waves of tax cuts for the “JCs” solved that “problem”.
