No one on a college campus should be calling for Palestinian deaths. I got one professor did. No one should be. Calling for murder is wrong.
That is why there is sympathy for the Palestinians they are dying. The Arab students are paying back the sympathy with indoctrination to blame and kill some more.
The bigger issue of free speech. I do not want Arab dictators influencing how our students are indoctrinated. There needs to be a major pushback. It is a very ignorant indoctrination.
According to Jewish theology, if your mother is a Jew, you are a Jew. If you don’t believe in the Religion you’re still a Jew. The many Jews that I know that do not practice or believe Jewish religion or tradition call themselves jews.

Genocide is certainly not a new idea. But the discussion of why anyone would say something so outrageous as to call for the genocide of a group could lead to new insight and understanding.

Making those statements in a public protest on a university campus would be a violation of codes of conduct IMO. Advocating the genocide of Jews in a public protest would also be a violation. Calling for such genocide as part of political or artistic satire may not be a violation. The guiding principle is the linkage between the words and conduct. If the context indicates that the statement is likely to lead to intimidation then it is a violation.
You seem to be arguing that a “call for genocide” should be banned regardless of context. That such a statement even if overheard in a private conversation or as satire or as a joke in extremely bad taste should lead to punishment. On the other hand, if you don’t believe those things, then the college professors were right…how one deals with statements of those sort depends on context.
DNA does not lie. DNA tests will show that many people who think they are Semitic (Jewish) are really mixed with many other races (DNA haplo groups).

Of course. That genetic link is a major part of why many Zionists resist the characterization of the Palestinian conflict as fitting within a ‘settler-colonial’ framework, arguing that the Jewish people should be considered indigenous to the area. But not all Jews are Semitic, and not all Jews share that genetic linkage - and it doesn’t make them any less Jewish - so the term “Semitic” and “Jewish” are not interchangeable.
That is also why the Sephardic majority in Israel matters.
Not only is it a matter of experience in the Arab Muslim world but a matter of belonging in the region.
There is zero point in anyone anywhere telling Sephardic Jews this or that about living with Arab rule will be reasonable. It is not reasonable.
I love the Palestinian state of Jordan but it is not held together by the rest of the Arab world. It is a satellite of the US and Israel.

I agree with what you write, but I want to put more emphasis on the close relationship between Jews and Arabs.

Arabs and Jews have lived together in the Middle East for thousands of years. Besides the same origin DNA of Jews and Arabs, there has been inter-marriage and inter-sex between some Jews and Arabs for thousands of years.
Why do you believe that’s important?
Because so many people on this board do not think their is any relation between Jews and Arabs and that Arabs are degenerates.
