Reminds me of a stunt my employees pulled on me.
We had announced that we were closing the plant. As we approached the final weeks the breakroom vendors started pulling their machines out. One of the first to go was the coffee machine. My employees complained but I gave them a flippant remark, I don’t drink coffee. So, a day or so later it was breaktime and I went to the soda machine to buy my diet Pepsi. I pressed the button and a Dr Pepper dispensed. I hate Dr. Pepper. I cursed to myself and thought what a dummy I was for pushing the wrong button. I put more money in and made sure I pressed the diet Pepsi button. Out came another can of Dr. Pepper. About then I heard a commotion at the breakroom doors. There stood several of my employees watching and laughing at me. They had caught the soda vendor right before break and had him load 2 Dr Peppers in the diet Pepsi slot. They said that’s what I get for letting the coffee vendor leave early.
I still miss those guys.
