_The US on Thursday rejected a [296-page report](https://www.amnesty.org/en/documents/mde15/8668/2024/en/)from Amnesty International that concluded Israel is conducting genocide in Gaza._ _“We disagree with the conclusions of such a report. We have said previously and continue to find that the allegations of genocide are unfounded,” State Department spokesman Vedant Patel[told reporters.](https://www.state.gov/briefings/department-press-briefing-december-5-2024/#post-603299-SYRIAIRAN)_ _ **US officials have repeatedly denied the idea that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza since it would implicate them due to the massive amount of military aid that the US has provided Israel over the past year.** _ Move along there. Ha. On page 102 they expressly state that they changed the definition of “genocide” such that they can make this claim.
