Piracy Occurring on the Seas

If shipping is not safe; this affects the world economy

At the end of ww2, the United States guaranteed the freedom of the seas allowing global trade to flourish. That appears to be no longer the case.

as you said in the other thread which has again been closed for no good reason, regime change is difficult to do but it is what the US government wants to do always.

For Vietnam, these people like to say ‘they lost the battle but won the war’. The US smashed Vietnam a few decades ago. The US ‘lost’ but Vietnam lost much much more. Yet today Vietnam is friendly with the US.

The US dropped the A-bomb on the Japanese. Several decades later, Japan is what the US bet on to counter China. Japan abides.

Europe was ravaged by WWII. The US saw an opportunity…etc…

If the US needs to wage war it will. Regime change does not happen after a few weeks. They hope it will happen over time. Certainly these guys are not looking at decades but maybe months or years?

That is the confidence of the US. With all the speak of decline, there is absolutely none! Will the US decline? Surely. But not now.
