Yes, “not a good look at all” is an understatement. How about “patently illegal if the Justice Department cared about such things.”

Whether we like it or not, someone has to investigate and prosecute these things. Seems very unlikely.
At best, things like this can sway voters in normal times, we don’t live in normal times.

I am just pointing out right and wrong. Like I said, Some people do not care about white collar crime, it has been proven time and time again. Then they wonder why we have violent crime. People are acting out against the injustice. More white collar crimes beget more violent crime. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.

- Scales - their side is weighted with a fat stack of cash.
- Blindfold - they want to use their privilege, power, and status to influence outcomes.
- Sword - they abuse the system to avoid swift and final judgements through delay and appeal.
While not all violent crime is tied to people lashing out against injustice, there will definitely be an uptick given the current shenanigans.
Going back to right and wrong - the cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance are no longer held by the majority in the US. I am desperately holding on to the hope that they will return, only to be left depressed and in despair when it’s clear they may not.
We’re plagued by unreasonable, selfish cowards who show little to no restraint.

What troubles me is that even people that you would think are commons sense and middle of the road do not care. It seems the only way they will is if they are not allowed a pardon and are given longer jail sentences. Because they are underming the financial system.
