Interesting. If one ranks all 1700 companies by 5-year average ROE, are the top 40 mostly large cap, small cap, or mixed?
I didn’t check.
But I presume it’s a mix over time.
The results in different market cap categories are different from the results overall, so there have to be at least some passing the “top 40 ROE” test in each group.
I could probably figure it out, but hey, other irons in the fire!
