Using Carriers report that came out at the start of the week. Focusing on the tanker transactions. STNG sell 3 LR2 tankers to Greek entities, and 3 MR2 tankers to Turkish entities. FRO sell 2 older Suezmax tankers for $140M enbloc
IIRC, those two vessels are the last Suezmax vessels that were ordered by the original Frontline entity. One would have to dig into old annual reports, and find the price of those vessels. But, my recollection is that FRO paid $56M - $62M per vessel. The point being, FRO utilized each vessel for 11 - 12 years, and then sell the vessels for a nice mark-up. Will probably de discussed in the Q1 2026 earnings call. But event itself is a Q2 2026 item. Says the buyers are Greek (a data-point, not Sinokor). A plus for STNG on the LR2 transactions. More so than the STNG MR2 transactions.
