Those big money investors buying $500M worth stock are obviously doing their due diligence and looking for the stock to go wayyyyy higher than $91!!
Sometimes big money is proven “dumb”… but for the most part, they do a good job at growing their money (which is why they have big money in the first place…)
I agree with Saul, seems like this is a good event for all concerned… (ofcourse until proven wrong!!)

Shopify could be added to the flagship S&P/TSX Composite Index in June. This could create demand for over 5 million shares according to Scotia Capital.
When we do the math, it looks like Shopify more than satisfies the “inclusion” requirements.
As long-term shareholders, we recommend accumulating shares on stock price dips.
