# Should I buy more Nvidia stock right now?

I currently have 6K worth of shares and my total return as of this moment is 100.37% I have already contributed the full 8K (yes, I am 55 or older) for the 2025 calendar year but I have been letting it sit since around April in hopes of the stock market taking a dump which it never really did. I hate, hate, hate buying when the market is up but the money isn’t earning anything currently. I am thinking of dumping the entire 8K into Nvidia right now and being done with this years contribution. I hate this money not making any money.

I think this is a toss up. How confident are you that Nvidia can continue to grow earnings. They are an industry leader and have good management. There are competitors. Technology could change. Not a sure thing.

I own lots more than you mention. I am not selling.

PE is shown as 57, on the high side from their usual 30. Still setting new highs. Still growing earnings. Is it a momentum stock? Maybe!!

I have read quite a few articles on Nvidia potential growth and I know AI is here now. I even use it sometimes for things like ChatGPT. This is potentially the biggest evolution in technology since the internet. I certainly can’t imagine a world in which they tank. I just wish I could buy it during a dip. I’ll see if I get more replies and maybe I’ll put 5k into it and divvy up the rest between my other stocks.
