Two different sets of shoes - both with rugged soles - have so little traction on wet surfaces that I can’t wear them in damp weather. Yes, they wear like iron but then again they often sit idle.

Hi Blue,
I have three sets of these shoes now. (Wife keeps thinking I need another pair) Two of them are the canvas slip on shoes and 1 is a running shoe. I live in the Desert and have never used the running shoe in the rain so I am not sure if the soles are slippery. But as far as the canvas slip on shoes go. I go deep see fishing and wear them all the time. I haven’t noticed the soles being slippery on the boat deck. Maybe the soles of your shoes are made from a different rubber though. I always wear the slip on for everything now. Nice casual comfortable shoe.
