Not sure how many folks are watching out on the high street for Skechers’ competition but walking through the Singapore retail streets and passing the still prominent prime door side shop frontage display for Skechers there was a much larger display this time…
Same usual pastel colour schemes, highlighting messages of style and comfort etc…
Only this wasn’t part of the Skechers window display - it was for Crocs who seem to be evolving from their thermo-plastics molded casuals to a more shoe like range with very similar messaging and positioning as Skechers.
One to watch when the retail market share tracking metrics get published! Not sure whether Crocs are going for the Skechers business in other territories but I’d be interested to hear.
