If this is anything like 2008 prior to March 2009…the equity markets will at some point soon start to drift sideways. Before a major leg down later this year and a bottom early next year. There will be news by end of summer or early fall that China’s financial system is totally screwed. The talk will be how will this wash up here in the west? And it will.

I suspect the world will deal with China’s financial decline like it usually does – in a flight to safety to the US dollar, US Treasury securities, and the US stock market.
