All,
I thought this article was good news on many levels.
- A company has been founded with the sole purpose of optimizing consumption on Snowflake.
- Snowflake has partnered with this company instead of seeing them as a threat to revenue.
This to me is a really good sign of the long-term prospects of Snowflake, as pointed out by Jonwayne’s recent post. Also for #2, this would have been obvious to anyone who has followed Snowflake, that they want to please their customers, at the detriment to short-term revenue but for the gain of long-term, loyal revenue.
