Depends on the objective. Mechanical learning may be appropriate for people being lined up for mechanical jobs. How many here have been barked at by the “JC” for interacting with coworkers, rather than being focused on their task? Raising a flock of workers who have not been acclimatized to social interaction could be a plus for “JCs”. No whining by the workers that they want a “life” outside of work, and no chattering on the clock. Just work, work, work, work.
