What I’m wondering is what the backlash will be like.

A lot of stocks we’re discussing here are selling mainly to other businesses, where the cost of the subscription is offset by the savings in business costs. There seems to be a lot more “rent seeking” with at-home use, without providing more value.

One large example of over-reach is John Deere’s tractors equipped with engine software that keeps farmers from doing their own repairs.
