The Economic Dialogue is missing! The shaping of American culture by Vizio, a Walmart company

Vizio does not show the live, standard feeds of CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC upfront because they require a paid cable or streaming subscription, whereas Al Jazeera provides its English news feed to free, ad-supported television (FAST) platforms.

Vizio televisions are present in approximately 25% to 30% of all U.S. households****. According to metrics reported by Vizio and Walmart, Vizio TVs are actively in the homes of more than 92 million people across the country, backed by roughly 22 million active smart TV accounts.

Walmart offers free programming with its Vizio TV.

Al Jazeera is owned and funded by the government of Qatar. [1]

While the parent company, Al Jazeera Media Network, formally operates under Qatari law as a “Private Foundation for Public Benefit,” it is structurally a state-owned media organization

There is a problem on Social Media. There is a problem in the media. It is lead by Vizio.

America in the public realm is widely using talking points seeded by dictatorships. It is a different type of messaging that supports dictators instead of democracies.

We see things in isolation on camera to explain injustices. When really the dictators are to blame. Today, the ills of dictatorships are no longer part of the discussion in the US. Instead, we worry about dictators at home. I submit there is no dictator at home. Ignorance, yes, but not absolute power.

How does this affect economics? We are not having a dialogue on growing the US economy.
