It only goes to the left or in reverse.
The major car makers sell ALL their cars through dealers, not direct to end users. If mgmt sold direct to end users, the dealer network would disintegrate because the dealers can not compete with manufacturer(s).
Remember: The car was “first car built entirely by management”.
