I’m really torn. Bear seems happy with selling out, Chris seems happy with staying in. I’m not happy with either.

I’m in a similar boat: torn, and not really happy with selling out, nor with making it a large position. The growth numbers look good enough, but Sarah’s departure was a blow and possibly a sign of things not going as well as they once did (that is, could be cause or effect, or both, of reduced future performance). With the stock price being stuck, that means SQ is presumably becoming a better buy.
It helps that you’re saying you’re not sure, either. That makes me feel better about not being sure myself. I’m probably not missing anything obviously good or bad.
For now, I’ll continue to be patient. It’s a smallish position for me. I don’t want to add. If we saw a big pullback in higher conviction stocks, I might sell some SQ to add to something else opportunistically. I’m willing to sell covered calls to try to boost my returns, while being OK with letting the stock go if needed.
