Check out this another great post on the RB:BOFI message boards by Tom Engle (TMF1000). He breaks down the NY Times article and other recent short attacks on the company. One snippet that stood out to me was the blurb about the H&R block acquisition. BOFI got approval while before them Republic Bank did not get approval for acquiring the same set of assets.
