I highly recommend the Korean TV series, “Chuno: The Slave Hunters.” It’s very intense. The acting is incredible. The lead, Jang Hyuk, won the Grand Prize at the Korean Broadcasting System Awards and Best Actor at the 39th International Emmy Awards. His acting range is amazing and the script maximizes the opportunity to show it. All the actors are excellent in this series but Jang Hyuk’s performance is in the top tier of any actor I’ve ever seen. Like the other Korean TV series I have recommended, this is a coherent story with a beginning, middle and end. It’s like reading a very long historical novel.
