I worked for one of those contractors for a while. We lost the contract because they found someone cheaper located in a state that they wanted to goose, as far as we could tell. The rules were occasionally a little frustrating and wasteful–such as since I was hired for a certain contract, I couldn’t work on anything else when we ran out of work, but I still had to be in the office. Fortunately, that didn’t happen very often, but when it did it was dumb.

You ever hear about Rocky Mountain spotted fever? It is a tic borne disease prevalent around the United States. Very deadly with a High mortality rate. You know who played a key role in finding an antibiotic for it? It was the RML that they just axed a lot of people in, that were in Hamilton Montana. These guys have no clue what they are doing to science in this country.
