So, is your prognosis for continuing “OPA!” (as the Greeks would say) for an indeterminate future, or are you sardonically referring to an obvious cliff we are about to fall off thereof?
I would say I am very happy that we made it past the top. We have a golden cross and the market could have a very good run. This is just a guess on my part and should not be counted on in any way but I feel good about the market.
The red marks show the last 3 golden crosses. I have found the death cross is a little late, and the golden cross is also. But the golden cross seems to go on a lot further after it has been triggered.
Some people say TA is a little better than a coin flip but that means there is a chance I am right!!!

I must admit that the market has, even in the COVID era and through the inflation spurt and tariff diddlations held up almost recalcitrantly even with its stumbles thrown in.
My research/back testing and other observers/practitioners conclude that this type of “brown shoe” or kitchen table market timing, in the long run, only does as well as buy & hold, but it does let you sleep better during those prolonged downdrafts.
I like the fact that it gets you out of stocks that never do come back or go down and just linger for years. It is jarring to be invested in a growth company that goes up and up and then drops 90% and stays there.
