Sound familiar? Oops just one more please, I meant I didn’t want any wars against countries I like.
** Donald Trump has given Iran 60 days to agree a nuclear deal or face military action.**

Well, that might delay the invasion of Panama?

Where is Dividends20? He’s been steadfastly against military intervention and seemingly willing to see Ukraine abandoned to Putin. Will the criticize Trump?
And the leader of Iran would be correct and understandable in saying “Nobody believes anything he says, there is no point in listening to him because tomorrow up is down and black is white.”
This, of course, goes for every other world leader and every investor and everyone else too.
Until October 2023 Iran’s encirclement strategy using Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis (the 3 H’s?) was still relatively strong. Hezbollah propped up Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Iran allowed Hezbollah to launch a war in the north, which turned out to be a serious mistake. Iran also attacked Israel directly which ended up leaving Iran essentially defenseless.
And I doubt the B-2s at Diego Garcia are for the Houthis.
This New York Times article also brings up the domestic problems in Iran…
Why Iran’s Supreme Leader Came Around to Nuclear Talks With the U.S.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/11/world/middleeast/us-iran-talks-trump-khamenei.html
Mr. Khamenei had publicly and repeatedly banned engaging with Washington, calling it unwise and idiotic. The senior officials, in an unusual coordinated effort, urged him to change course, said the two officials, who asked not to be named to discuss sensitive issues.
The message to Mr. Khamenei was blunt: Allow Tehran to negotiate with Washington, even directly if necessary, because otherwise the Islamic Republic’s rule could be toppled.
The country was already dealing with an economy in shambles, a currency plunging against the dollar and shortages of gas, electricity and water. The threat of war with the United States and Israel was extremely serious, the officials warned. If Iran refused talks or if the negotiations failed, the officials told Mr. Khamenei, military strikes on Iran’s two main nuclear sites, Natanz and Fordow, would be inevitable.
Iran would then be forced to retaliate, risking a wider war, a scenario that could further damage the economy and spark domestic unrest, including protests and strikes, the officials said. Fighting on two fronts posed an existential threat to the regime, they added.

That timing is interesting. 60 days from now is just before Donnie is going to spend about $100 M on a military birthday parade for himself.
Shhhhh. If you type his name three times into a thread, he comes for your sanity.
