This is a trip through one of the poorest areas of China. It’s a shame what 40 years of crony capitalism has done to our country.

Pure capitalism is a horrible thing, unless you’re part of the lucky few top percentile. A blend of socialism and capitalism is much better, which is what much of the world has (at least the first world).

Agreed. We now have that blend plus a little communism (government ownership of businesses) plus a bit of oligarchy/dictatorship.
We really are a melting pot!
