When did the world as we know it end?

So now we have learned that it is participation trophies and drag queens that are causing global climate change. Well people say that the discourse on TMF is enlightening.

Well, they can always rerun the Santos stories–with full photos. Who would not (three guesses…)?

Wow, a Navy guy in drag!?! Oh the horror!!

What the (bleep) is THIS, the 1900s?!? Whoa is me!!!

The Army Special Services produced, published, and distributed handbooks for soldier shows. These publications, known as Blueprint Specials , contained everything you would need to put on an approved and pre-scripted soldier show. Blueprint Specials for soldier shows even included dress making patterns and suggestions for material procurement. “Girly” show choreography was outlined in the publications to ensure that the GIs looked good in their highly choreographed “pony ballet” numbers. A pony ballet is one where groups of masculine looking GIs dress in tutus and perform ballet routines often wearing their army issued boots.

That might be Tucker Carlson in the middle. Of course I could be wrong.

The sight of people standing with their hand over their heart for the National Anthem at a Southern California restaurant appeared to shock and horrify TikTok users. In a viral video posted to the social media platform last week, about a dozen people are shown standing for the Star-Spangled Banner as it plays on a television screen in the bar area of Rainbow Oaks Restaurant in Fallbrook, California.

One TikTok user who was dining at the establishment posted the video with the caption, “By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in.” She used the hashtags #godblessamerica. #getout, #illegal, and #whitepeoplethings afterwards.

““By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in.” She used the hashtags #godblessamerica. #getout, #illegal, and #whitepeoplethings afterwards.”

How very sad.

The problem is it can lead to a sense of entitlement. Here I am, I haven’t done anything, where is my trophy. Here I am, I haven’t done anything, where is my corner office with a view, 6 figure salary, and 8 weeks paid vacation.

It can also lead to a lack of self motivation and lack of self satisfaction. No trophy, no effort. How that is combated is parental/adult involvement. One of my favorite CrossFit t-shirts has a saying “Set your goals. Tell no one. Smash the s*** out of them. Clap for yourself. Repeat”. My 13 y/o nephew is picking up on that after doing CrossFIt with me for almost 2 years.

Fox Noise, repeating a piece from the NY Post, a Murdoch rag, organizations proven to pedal lies, and anyone gives this any credit at all?

Har…,.har…har

Well, Fox Noise needs to do something to distract their viewers from the fact the network liked about the 2020 election being stolen all this time! Its called “deflection”.

So, Steve, are you saying this didn’t happen?

What Steve is saying is Fox Noise is deflecting from stuff that actually is serious. Like the out-right lying by their prime time hosts?

No, that’s what you said. What Steve wrote is “anyone gives this any credit at all?”

You do you, but I can’t imagine spending my life’s energy scouring Tik Tok to find things to be upset out.

Fair and my mistake.

But why is that TikTok even newsworthy in the first place?

The answer is implicit in the video itself, the responses and the posting here: it gins up anger, one way or another. My way is the right way: either (1) to always stand up with the anthem playing on tv with the video of a flag waving and say “YES” that’s what we do here, or (2) be indignant about how these people are sheep and we would never do that in Australia, England, Canada, or even in my community here in the good 'ol US of A, etc., etc.

The video and story plays both ways to the worst in the bases. And just how many TikToks were made about it? How many followers are there on that particular TT to be worthy of a great national story? Millions? Hundreds of millions? Doesn’t look like it.

Aren’t there intangible participation trophies in sports? They include the fun, friendships, exercise, fresh air, and team experience. Even the weakest player on the last place team is miles ahead of the couch potatoes.

If everyone gets a participation trophy, won’t families run out of space? Isn’t it expensive to give out a trophy to everyone? Ribbons are cheaper, lighter, and less space-consuming. Of course, the intangible participation trophies (like exercise, friendships, and teamwork skills) come free of charge with the sport and don’t require storage space.

One tik tok poster speaks for progressives? Every time I think this conversation can’t get any stupider…

What does it take to get a “letter” in high school sports? Show up? Have a pulse? It sure does not signify any academic achievement.

The discussion is about how the world has changed. Here we have an example of a woman who finds a group of people saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Her reaction? “By far the most dangerous situation…” “White people things”

Good? Bad? You decide, but things have changed.
