I read the following in following in “The New Invisible Hand” and thought it speaks to the difference in sales styles of ZM and ZS.
“This contrasts with more mature competitors such as webex and miscrosoft office who have been used to the traditional top-down IT purchase process. But for Zoom, it has worked: 55% of customers that currently spend over $100,000 started with a single user driving demand.”
for zscaler that single user seems to be the CEO. Zoom has many more potential first use customers.
