A long range investor. I buy good companies based on their product performance, long range product plans, competitor analysis, leadership and financials. From this I build a written investment thesis that outlines who, why and what I expect to happen as well as any known or imagined threats that could derail this thesis.

I then loosely track the key decision points as outlined by my investment thesis for long periods of time. A typical investment for me is 8+ years with 70+% of my holdings having never been sold. I have achieved market beating returns with this approach.
