256,000 posts,many of them quite dense, so it’s not for the faint of heart. I have read 50,000 or more of them. Often with limited understanding. And i was looking mostly for things applying to the general market, indices timing.

I recently subscribed to AAII SI pro database so hopefully I can start doing more on my own. There are a bunch of stock screens by posters, it’s very much a group project. Plus a backtester of the prepared screens, though to do much on your one you have to be a subscriber to AAII SI Pro or Value Line data bases and learn some programming. The screens are not black box. You can look up how they are constructed.

MI board is an amazing resource. something you could never find in books and freely shared. For most of these screens, sharing is not harmful. Few will have the energy to study them, even fewer the discipline to stick with them…

post 243063 on MI board is actually not the one about 10 to 13 month SMA , but rather a more complex variation on it. I can’t locate the original post -my notes reference only the methodology and conclusions. It is in there somewhere…
