I read that story earlier this morning. There is much to be learned from it, but sadly those who rail about “the nanny state” won’t because they refuse to. So they die. Good plan.

There is something almost ‘natural selection’-ish about that story. The weak die and the strong survive. In these particular cases, though, those who take advantage of the weak (minded) also seem to survive just fine.
