Yes, I understand that. Trump accounts are betting on the overall success of the Trump economy. Though, I’d want to wait and see if we’re actually getting a low-fee index fund.
Years ago the Thrift Savings Plan for Federal Employees operated with a 2 basis point expense ratio. Now under Trump’s guidance it doubled to 3 to 5 basis points despite a much larger asset base and larger economy of scale.
I suspect some favored crony capitalist is making bank on this.
