Amazon is shipping so many boxes that it’s becoming a problem. What’s really interesting is the innovative solution Amazon cooked up. This is a rare case where business does not ignore their harmful externality but instead converts it into a useful one.
There’s a great new way to reuse your old Amazon shipping boxes
Amazon announced it’s participating in a program called “Give Back Box” earlier this week. Basically, if you ship donations to Goodwill in a used Amazon box, Amazon will cover the shipping.
