I’ve never paid for Amazon Prime. I occasionally buy stuff from Amazon, but I wait until I have enough stuff to meet the “free shipping” minimum. If they ever get to where they’re adding $6.99 shipping to every order, I’ll be buying everything at Walmart.

I don’t have prime either and routinely search from Walmart first before buying on Amazon. Walmart’s purchase of Jet.com has made a big difference. Much can be delivered for free or delivered to your closest store. But I find reviews on Amazon more reliable.
