That’s what I thought, at first. Then…
We do find ourselves getting ‘lots’ of stuff via Amazon that we’d likely have to make store visits. (Sometimes for a single item.) And maybe have to schlep around to more than one store to find what exactly what we’re looking for. Taking the time. Driving around, burning $4 a gallon gas, etc.
The more specialty or odd-ball thing we’re looking for, the more likely we’ll just go to Amazon.
I did do some ‘what-if’ accounting, to see if paying for each delivery would be less than annual flat fee. Came down to doing the fee.
