I didn’t see that in the article. It did say that people who included 3-4 brief periods of activity a day saw similar benefits when compared to people who exercise regularly.
In a comparison with around 62,000 people who exercised regularly, including runners, gym-goers and recreational cyclists, the mortality risk reduction was similar.
