My daughter will be a freshman at UTK this fall. In high school, she took classes through her high school that earned her college credit at a local junior college.
UTK will only give her credit for the classes if the junior college sends her transcript to UTK — it will not accept the high school’s word for it.
Naturally, there’s a fee for that transcript. Is that fee a qualifying expense for a 529 plan? I looked and googled and couldn’t find anything that looked definitive.
Thanks in advance. Happy to talk more.
Regards,
-Chuck
