Bloomberg News reports that Alteryx is getting a boost today from a ratings raise to Buy from Hold at Piper Sandler. Their analyst Brent Bracelin observes “encouraging hiring activity in May that suggests analytics could have increasing importance in a post-Covid world”. Also, new job openings for AYX show different use cases across companies, including anti-fraud at BNP, pricing analytics at Gilead, and inventory analysis at Whole Foods. Recent conversations with executives show “ambitious new product roadmap” in the next 18 months. Price target raised to 160 from 90.

Another source of clues about what Alteryx is planning from a product development point of view is to look at their recent job postings. I have noticed some significant changes in the last two weeks in the types of jobs posted, specifically for the technology team, that give clear insight into how Alteryx is evolving their tech stack and product architecture. A few of these jobs were just added yesterday, so this situation is evolving quickly. Some of the wording below is borrowed from the job descriptions directly.

Absolutely worth checking out. For someone like me with (low) technical knowledge in this area, He breaks down the software offerings into digestible portions and adds a lot of marketing info. Highly recommend clicking on the link.
