Well, we’re going. We know there aren’t a ton of activities. It’s just a “getaway”. Resort is all-inclusive, and we can wander as we like. We have only done a day trip to Flagstaff, a weekend in Cornville, and last summer a week in Hawaii in the past three years. And we only did Hawaii because of their stringent requirements, and their ability to enforce them (e.g. you can’t drive there, so every person entering could be screened).

This is our first international trip in three years, also. We both had health problems, and then COVID whacked the world. Yeah, it isn’t going to be action-packed. But it should be relaxing. We’ll probably partake of the resort’s dance classes (we had to stop going to ours before I had my first surgery).

We’ve booked a cruise for late Aug, and one next Jan. And Maui in about 14 months. And I’m starting to ruminate on actual journeys that will involve several destinations, and require a couple of months. That will probably be for late 2023, or into 2024. Maybe something like Hawaii, Moorea, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Japan…maybe cruise for some of that.
