Reminds me of the fall of Rome where citizens did not have to work and were entertained by gladiator fights etc. But then maintaining military became difficult. Everyone wanted to join the good life in Rome. Why work? And they had slaves to do the work.
China has a large number of engineers, to be sure. But sometimes those engineers cut corners and donât follow the best engineering practices. From what I can see, the Chinese system doesnât always follow the same rules that are required elsewhere. This can lead to problems.
