China's new clean energy has shunned nuclear power

China has stopped building the 150 new nuclear plants that were the subject of many discussions.

Nonsense. It took about a minute to gather a few links that prove the above statement to be false. These are just news stories from July and August.

A few days later, they started pouring the safety-related concrete.

You have not proved me wrong. A few nuclear projects does not add up to 150 new nuclear power plants. As shown in the graph I posted, solar, wind and hydro are 10 times more important to China because of cost and schedule.

You made the untrue claim that China has stopped building nuclear power plants. This was easily proven false with a simple internet search.

No! I said China is not building 150 new nuclear plants as your previous posts over the last 10 years claimed.

Which posts? When have I ever stated that China is currently building 150 new plants? I might have posted something about 150 new plants being a long term goal for the party.

You employed the classic straw man argument by trying to debunk points that nobody else is making.

For the record, according to the PRIS database, the number of nuclear power plants currently in construction in China is around 29. PRIS has not updated to show the Jinqimen-1 plant yet, so this is an approximate number.
